Louis G. Eraklis

81, of West Warwick, originally from Maine, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 2, 2015, at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Barbara (Paparelli) Eraklis and the late Aspasia (Merianos) Eraklis. Born in Augusta, ME, he was a son of the late George and Georgia (Anagnastou) Eraklis. Louie was a self-employed business man, who owned restaurants in Maine and Massachusetts, and the Connecticut Beef Co. Besides his wife Barbara, he is survived by his loving children, George L. Eraklis of MA, Helen "Eleni" Eraklis of NH, John D. Eraklis of CA and Effie M. Eraklis of ME; stepchildren, Rene M. Turchetta and Thomas A. Pellegrino. Dear brother of Stacia Solomon and the late Angelo J. Eraklis. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. His funeral will be held on Saturday at 10 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a funeral service in the Church of the Annunciation, Greek Orthodox Church, Oaklawn Avenue, Cranston at 11 am. Burial will be held in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. VISITING HOURS: Saturday from 9-10am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Maine Coast Heritage Trust (mcht.org).
