Louis Gentile

94, of Cranston, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. He was the loving husband of the late Anna J. (SanAntonio) Gentile. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Alfred and Anna (Dimitri) Gentile.

Louis was an insurance agent for John Hancock Insurance Company for many years and was a WW-II U.S. Coast Guard veteran.

He is survived by his beloved daughter, Kim Gentile-Brynes and son-in-law Keith; and sons Jeffrey Gentile and daughter-in-law Jean; Christopher Gentile; Mark Gentile and Gregory Gentile. He was the beloved grandfather of Jared, Alexa, Matthew, Marisa, Dylan, Justin, Jeremy and Bronte and the brother of Robert Gentile and the late Gilbert and Alfred Gentile and Norma Archetto.

VISITING HOURS are Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, October 1st at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston.  Burial will be private.
