LOUIS PETRUCCI

75, of Johnston, passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Linda Conte. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Marco and Adelaide (Moretti) Petrucci. His world revolved around his family and friends. His love for them was evident to all who knew him. He enjoyed golf, playing cards with his buddies at the post, and Saturday fight night with his friends. He served in the US Air Force and was a member of the American Legion John Ruggieri Post #78. He was employed for many years at Metro Honda of Johnston. Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving children, Maria Iuppa and her husband Louis, Lisa Rodio and her husband David, Denise Abbenante and her husband Peter, Linda Messina, Paul Conte and his wife Jan, John Conte and his wife Sherri, and was the father of the late Diane Petrucci; his 14 cherished grandchildren; his dear sister Josephine Paliotta and his many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers Albino, Dario, and Joseph Petrucci. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Thursday at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Rocco's Church, Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Burial with Military Honors will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be Wednesday from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
