Louis M. Verdi

of Knollwood Ave., Cranston, passed away on Friday, July 6, 2018.  He was the beloved husband for 64 years of Anna I. (D’Andrea) Verdi.  Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Louis T. and Annie (Lawton) Verdi.

Louis was the former Athletic Director for the State of RI at the Training School for Boys.  He was a private pilot, professional musician, avid motorcyclist and athlete.

Besides his wife Anna, he was the devoted father of Geraldine Verdi and her husband Phil of Cranston and the late Michael L. Verdi; loving grandfather of two; and dear brother of the late Pearl Lusignan.

His funeral will be private.
