101, of Cranston, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at home. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Doucette. Born in Cranston, she was a daughter of the late Carl A. and Frieda (Leshke) Fischer. Louise worked at the former General Electric Monowatt Plant in Cranston and in the jewelry industry for twenty-five years. She enjoyed gardening and caring for her family.
Louise is survived by her loving daughters, Dr. Joanne Doucette, and Judith Jamieson and her husband William, all of Cranston. She was the cherished grandmother of Sarah Peterson, Stephanie Lottridge, Deirdre Lottridge, and the great-grandmother of Devin Almeida, Jr., Brooklyn and Dallas Awokande. Louise was the sister of Frieda V. Hervey of Warwick, Gladys Larrivee of Johnston, and the late Carl, Albert, Edward, Walter, Arthur, Herman, Everett, George, Gertrude, Fred, and Henry Fischer, and Annie Dyer.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Monday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Drive, Cranston.
