Louise M. (DiStefano) Fede
85, formerly of George Waterman Rd., Johnston, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 30, 2014 at Heritage Hills Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Smithfield. She was the beloved wife for 61 years of the late Ralph A. Fede. Born in North Providence, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Jenny DiStefano.
Louise was the devoted mother of Frank P. Fede of North Kingstown, Judith J. Duhamel and her husband Kenneth of Johnston and Nicholas A. Fede and his wife JoAnn of North Kingstown; adored mother-in-law of Jo-Ann Fede of Cranston; loving grandmother of seven; and great-grandmother of three. Louise was the dear sister of Louis DiStefano and Rosemary Amalfitano, both of North Providence and the late Alfred DiStefano, Jr. and William DiStefano.
Louise will be remembered by all whose life she touched for her kindness and gentle manner, always putting others needs before her own.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Thursday, April 3rd at 10:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, Atwood Ave., Johnston at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are THURSDAY MORNING from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
