Louise S. "Lee" (Saccoccia) Houlihan

85, of Cranston, passed away peacefully surrounded by her devoted family on Friday, February 23, 2018, at home. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles F. Houlihan. Born in Cranston she was a daughter of the late Salvatore and Rosina (Ciccarelli) Saccoccia. Lee was a graduate of Cranston High School and attended business school. Upon graduation she worked for Berkshire Hathaway in Providence.

Lee was an avid swimmer, bowler, gardener, cook and had a passion for design and fashion. Along with her husband, she traveled the country in support of their grandchildren’s sporting events.

Lee is survived by her loving daughters, Cathy Hopkins and her husband Chris of Cranston, Charlene Houlihan of Cranston, Cheryl Houlihan and her husband John DeGenova of Cranston, and Cindy Ryan and her husband John of Greenville. She was the cherished grandmother of Alyssa Soltys and her husband Mark, Lew Colby, Matthew Hopkins and his wife Becky, Daniel Hopkins and his wife Meghan, Kristen Lee Ryan and the great-grandmother of Avalena and Lyla Hopkins. Lee was the sister of Angelo Saccoccia of Cranston, and the late Frank, Pasquale, Anthony, Salvatore Saccoccia, and Loretta Grossi, Mary Crudale, and Ann Thibault.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Mary Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Tuesday 4-7p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Greater New England, 101A First Avenue, Waltham, MA. 02451.
