Louise F. (Forte) Johnson

93, of Johnston, passed away on Friday May 30, 2014 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Clyde R. Johnson, Jr.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Domenica (Sabatino) Forte. Louise was the tax receiver for Village of Fredonia in New York for many years, before retiring. She was a member of the Johnston Senior Center and a communicant of St. Brigid's Church in Johnston.
She was the devoted mother of Claudia L. Corley of Attleboro, MA. Clyde R. Johnson III of Calgary, Canada, Diana L. O'Hara of Springfield, VA., and the late Clinton R. Johnson; loving grandmother of fifteen and loving great-grandmother of sixteen. She was the dear sister of Samuel Forte of East Greenwich, Mary Mastrostefano of Jamestown and Lucy Brill of Cranston.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. Cranston on Tuesday at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brigid's Church, 1231 Plainfield St. Johnston at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery in Exeter.
