passed away peacefully on November 13, 2025, surrounded by her family. Born on January 6, 1948, in Providence, Rhode Island, Lucille was a beacon of light in the lives of those who knew her.
Lucille's impressive career spanned several decades, during which she served as the President of Davenport Associates from 1992 until 2014. Her notable contributions to healthcare also included her roles as Director of Nursing for the special care unit and Director of Nursing services at the former Cranston General Hospital. Furthermore, she was the Director of Nursing and later the Administrator at Charlesgate Nursing Center, where she was deeply committed to her work and the well-being of her patients.
Lucille was an alumnus of Cranston High School West, graduating with the Class of 1966. She further honed her skills and knowledge by attending the Roger Williams Hospital School of Nursing and later continuing her education at the American College of Healthcare Administrators. Her educational accomplishments not only shaped her career but also exemplified her commitment to learning and growth.
Beyond her professional life, Lucille cherished her involvement in the community, being an active member of the Rotary Club in Providence and an advocate for the Rhode Island State Nurses Association (RISNA). Her dedication to service and caring for others was evident in both her personal and professional endeavors.
She is survived by her beloved companion, Neil Bucci. Lucille found joy and strength in her extended family, particularly in her cousins who were like sisters to her, Claire Parsons and Anne Marie Massimino. She held dear her cousins, whom she cherished as nieces and a nephew, namely Regina Spirito (Christopher), AJ Massimino (Tina), Talia Spirito, and Lauren Massimino. Lucille's love for animals was also profound, and her dog, Roku, was a constant source of companionship and joy.Lucille was predeceased by her parents, Pasco and Lucy (Carcieri) Massemino, whose love and support laid the foundation for her life. She also mourned the loss of her cousins, Anthony Massimino and Nancy Sepe, whose memory remained close to her heart.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at 11am in St. Joseph Church, 144 Danielson Pike, North Scituate. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Monday from 5-7pm in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
