LUCY (VARTANIAN) ARAKELIAN
Lucy was a dress maker and worked at the former Pawtucket Dress Company for many years before retiring. She was an active member at Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church of Providence and was a member and past president of the Armenian Relief Society "ANI" Chapter.
Lucy was the devoted mother of Kenneth S. Arakelian and his wife Kathryn of Kingston and Jeffrey P. Arakelian of Avon, CT; loving grandmother of Amy, Alyssa, Jordan, Austin and Adam Arakelian; and dear sister of Moorad "James" Vartanian and his wife Marie of Cranston and the late Osky Cascone.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Wednesday at 10 a.m., followed by a Funeral Service in Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Swan Point Cemetery in Providence. VISITING HOURS are WEDNESDAY MORNING from 9-10 a.m.
