LUDA (SZURAVKIN) BALCOM

74, of Cranston, passed away Friday December 6, 2013. She was the wife of the late Frank Balcom. Born in Russia she was the daughter of the late Sam and Zina (Comarova) Szuravkin. Luda was employed by Metal Dynamics of Cranston for over 30 years until retiring. Previously she was employed by the former Calart Flowers for many years. She is survived by her daughter Laurie Lee Cappelli and her husband John of Cranston; her granddaughter Alexandra Cappelli; she was the sister of Val Glaros of ME and the late Walter and George Szuravkin. Her funeral will be held on Friday at 9am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a funeral service at 10am in St. David's on the Hill Episcopal Church, Cranston. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. VISITING HOURS Thursday 5-8pm.
