89, of Warwick, entered eternal life on Friday, December 11, 2015 surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Knightsville (Cranston) to Giovanni and Josephine (Zuena) Fabrizio on February 15, 1926.
Lindy is survived by Amalia "Molly" Fabrizio his wife of 57 years, children John, wife Colleen, daughter Molly of Groton, CT, Michael, wife Donna, sons Michael Jr. and Dante of West Warwick, Lynn McGowan, husband Sean, daughters Erin and Lauren of Coventry, his sisters Anna Fabrizio, Mary Carpentier, her husband Peter Carpentier and brother-in-law Anthony Soscia all of Cranston; 7 nephews, nieces their spouses and children. He was predeceased by sisters Frances DiMuccio and Rosina Soscia.
Lindy was a 65 year member of the RI local 94 carpenters union, an Army Veteran and a 20 years winter resident of Kissimmee, FL.
He was a faithful parishioner of Scared Heart in West Warwick for 57 years and a member of St. Mary's Feast Society of Knightsville. Lindy was an avid bowler on several leagues in RI as well as Florida. And he will always be remembered for his passion of the Yankees. Above all, he cherished spending time with his beloved grandchildren.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 4 - 7 p.m. on Monday, December 14, 2015 in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston. Funeral will be on Tuesday at 8:45 a.m. from the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, 820 Providence St., West Warwick. Burial with Military Honors will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. They would also extend their heartfelt appreciation to Mike and Donna Fabrizio and the VNA of Rhode Island team for their compassion and kindness through his journey. Kindly omit flowers.
