LYDIA (RIVET) RANKIN

70, of Johnston, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence. She was the wife of Edgar Rankin. Born in Providence, Lydia was the daughter of the late Arthur and Josephine (Tomao) Rivet. Mrs. Rankin was an avid reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles.

She is survived by her children: Anthony Del Santo and Stephanie Aust. Lydia was the cherished grandmother of Ivanna, Sophia, Kenny, Alex and Abigail.

Funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Tuesday at 10 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco Church Johnston at 11 a.m. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Tuesday morning from 9-10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Fund, 6110 Executive Blvd., Suite 1010, Rockville, MD 20852-9813.
