Madeline (Marsella) DeVincenzo

96, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2015. She was the wife of the late Louis J. DeVincenzo. She was born in Providence a daughter of the late Stefano and Raffaela ( Gentile ) Marsella.
Mrs. DeVincenzo was a cook employed at the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary until her retirement. She is survived by her 3 daughters, Gail A Nobrega of Johnston, Carol Petronelli of Foster and Donna Tortolano of Venice, FL. She also leaves behind 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was the grandmother of the late Stephanie Nobrega, and sister of the late Joseph, Bruno and Alphonse Tassoni; John and Anthony Marsella.
Her funeral will be held on Monday at 9am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Holy Cross Church, 645 Hartford Ave., Providence at 10am. Burial will take place in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS MONDAY MORNING 7-9AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Canine Companions for Independence, Northeast Region, 286 Middle Island Rd., Medford, NY 11763.
