94, of Johnston, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Friday May 1, 2026. Born in Providence, she was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Lomastro) Notarianni. Madeline shared a remarkable 74 year marriage with her devoted husband, Joseph Domenicone, a testament to a lifetime of love, partnership, and family. Madeline dedicated many years of service to the State of Rhode Island, working at the Institute of Mental Health before retiring in 1993. Even in her later years, she remained fiercely independent still driving around in her Kia Soul and keeping an active and social lifestyle. She cherished her weekly routines, especially Thursdays spent with friends at the Johnston Senior Center playing Mahjong, and Friday’s reserved for bingo with her sister-in-law, Rita. She also enjoyed regular trips to Twin River Casino with her daughter, proudly celebrating a memorable grand jackpot win in 2025. Madeline had a wide range of interests that brought her joy, including collecting coins, stamps, and baseball cards. In quieter moments, she could often be found reading or playing games on her iPad. Among her most treasured memories were the many Caribbean vacations she enjoyed with her family over the years.
She was the cherished mother of Dennis Domenicone and Gail Wulff and her husband, Richard. She was a loving and proud grandmother to Kyle Wulff and Tessa Wulff. Madeline also leaves behind her beloved cat, Susie, along with many nieces and nephews who will remember her fondly. She was the sister of the late Anthony Notarianni and Rose (Notarianni) Forbes. Madeline will be remembered for her independence, her warmth, her love of family, and the simple joys that filled her life. She leaves behind a legacy of strength, devotion, and lasting memories for all who knew her.
