Mafalda E. 'Muffy' (Saccoccio) Miele

93, of Londonderry, NH, formerly of Warwick, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Friday, January 1, 2016. She was the beloved wife of the late Mario P. Miele. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Maria Civita (Branca) Saccoccio. Mafalda was a bookkeeper for Imperial Knife Company of Providence for many years before her retirement. She was a member of the Regina Coeli Society, and various other church related guilds and societies. Mafalda was a member of the Cranston Senior Center, Kelley-Gazzerro VFW Senior Citizens Club, VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and the Londonderry Senior Citizens. She is survived by her loving daughter Carol Miele-Wechsler and her husband Bruce of Londonderry, NH. Mafalda was the cherished grandmother of one step-grandson Aaron Wechsler and his wife Kathleen of NH and one great-grandson Jacob. She was the sister of Lucy Kasica and Vera Bouchard, both of Rancho Santa Margarita, CA, Pasco "Pat" Saccoccio of Cranston, Anthony Saccoccio of Pawtucket, and the late Phyllis Occhipinti, Elmer Saccoccio, Arthur Saccoccio, Pauline Saccoccio, Viola Antoscia, and Flore Saccoccio. Muffy is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Tuesday 3-7 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in New Hampshire at a later date.
