MAJ Timothy J. Rachiele (Ret)
MAJ TIMOTHY J. RACHIELE, (Ret), 48, of Uxbridge, MA, formerly of Chepachet, RI, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2015. He was the beloved husband for 21 years of Amy (Antuono) Rachiele and loving and devoted father of Christian J. Rachiele. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Salvatore "Mike" and Jane D. (Chapman) Rachiele.
Tim was a decorated combat-war veteran of the U.S. Army and recipient of the Bronze Star Medal, who proudly served his country for 26 years in many different capacities from logistics to the front lines. Whether at home or overseas during his two tours in Afghanistan/OEF, he never wavered in his beliefs or in his loyalty to the United States of America.
Besides his wife and son, Tim is survived by his dear brother Michael J. Rachiele and his wife Marita of Scituate and loving uncle of Joseph, Michaela, Kaitlyn, Elizabeth and Nathan.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Wednesday, July 15 at 8:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Apostles Church, 800 Pippin Orchard Rd., Cranston at 10 a.m. Burial with military honors will be at RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. VISITING HOURS are Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
