MANUEL J. "MANNY" DOS SANTOS, (P.F.D. RET.)
Manny was a Providence firefighter for 19 years retiring in 1981. He was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran and a master jumper serving with the 101st Airborne; a member of I.A.F.F. Local 799; American Legion Post 102; RI Realtors Association; and a past member of the Knights of Columbus.
Manny was the devoted father of Rosemarie Orlandi and her husband Ralph Jr. of Cranston and Janine Hesford and her husband Scott of Scituate; loving grandfather of Ralph Orlandi, III, Gianna Hesford and twins Alexsa and Jake Hesford; and dear brother of Maria "Elsie" Cote of Cranston.
His funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Church of St. Mark, 15 Garden Court, Cranston at 10 a.m.
Interment with military honors will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Providence.
