MARCO V. HERRERA, SR

57, of Warwick, formerly of Providence, died Friday, December 4, 2009, at Kent County Hospital, Warwick. Born in Guatemala City, Guatemala, he was a son of Victoria Noemi (Duran) Herrera of Guatemala and the late Ricardo Herrera. Mr. Herrera was a jewelry designer working for independent contractors for most of his life. He is survived by his children, Veronica Balderas of Winder, GA and Marco V. Herrera, Jr. of Cranston. Marco was the grandfather of Tracey, Mario, Daniel, Andre and great-grandfather of Johanna. He was the brother of Ana Maria. Marco was the companion of Maria "Tessie" Salabert. His funeral service and burial were private.
