Margaret 'Marge' (Meloni) Alviti

93, of Johnston, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 peacefully at home.  She was the beloved wife of the late Vincent Alviti.  Born in Johnston, she was a daughter of the late Domenico and Antonetta (Ruotolo) Meloni.

Margaret was an avid golfer and former member of the Alpine Country Club in Cranston and the Boca Dunes Country Club in Boca Raton, FL.

She is survived by her loving children, Janice Amaral and her husband Robert of Johnston and Lucille Alviti of Cranston; cherished grandchildren Robert Amaral and his wife Karen, Stephanie Santilli and her husband Joseph, Alicia Chadwick and her husband Thomas, Laura Tomasello and her husband Louis and 5 great grandchildren; dear brother Domenic Meloni of Johnston.  She was the sister of the late Madeline Carrier, Mary Alviti, Elizabeth Venturini, and Nicholas Meloni.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. in St. Bartholomew’s Church, Laurel Hill Ave., Providence.  Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  Visiting hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
