98, of Providence, passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Miriam Hospital in Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony C. Cucca. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Sabatino and Caterina (Martino) DeToro.
Margaret worked in the jewelry industry for many years before retiring.
She was the devoted mother of Phyllis Urbano of Providence, Anthony A. Cucca and his wife Faith of Warwick and the late Marilyn Dalo; loving grandmother of Donna Palumbo and her husband David, Anthony E. Cucca and his wife Susan, Dr. Arthur P. Urbano, Jr. and his wife Tina and Edmund N. Cucca and his wife Rachel; loving great-grandmother of seven; mother-in-law of Arthur P. Urbano, Sr.; and dear sister of Rose Cataldo of FL and the late Lena Palazzo, Fred DeToro, Arthur DeToro and Ida Pennine.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Monday at 10 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Cross Church, 645 Hartford Ave., Providence at 11 a.m. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are MONDAY MORNING from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
