82, of North Providence, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, July 20, 2015 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. She was the beloved wife of sixty-one years to Carlo DiPietro, Jr. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late John and Catherine (Ryan) Halley. Margaret was a self-employed seamstress for sixty-five years before her retirement. She enjoyed bowling, volleyball, and designing fashions. Her greatest pride and joy in life was her family. Besides her husband she is survived by her loving children, Joseph C. DiPietro of Warwick, Donna M. Pepe and her husband James of North Providence, Sheril A. Carbone and her husband Michael of Johnston, Sandra L. Pescarino and her husband Robert of Saunderstown, Carla J. Campanelli and her husband Russell of Johnston. Margaret was the cherished grandmother of eleven and the great grandmother of two. She was the sister of Catherine Selke of San Diego, CA, Edward Halley of Bull Head City, AZ, and the late John Halley. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Avenue, Providence.
