MARGARET M. (CECE) DOMENICONE

92, of Johnston, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 28, 2013. She was the beloved wife of the late Adam "Tom" Domenicone for forty-nine years. She was born in Italy, and at age six moved to the U.S. Her parents were the late Vincenzo and Marianne (Carlino) Cece. Her siblings were Catherine Testa of Cranston, and the late Anna Calise, Josephine Rotondo, and Crescenzo Cece. Margaret, who was loved by all, was kind, gentle, and giving. Her sweet smile would light up a room. Her joys included cooking , gardening, traveling, tending to her fig tree, and relaxing on her sun-porch. She is survived by her loving children, Michael A. Domenicone and his wife Pamela of Cranston, and Theresa Mello of Warwick. She was the cherished grandmother of Ronald Thomas of Phoenix, Arizona, Lisa Couture of Chepachet, and David Domenicone of New Orleans, Louisiana. Margaret also leaves her five great-grandchildren Joshua, Justin, Julian, Kiah, and Mila, who she adored and who were the lights of her life. Her funeral service and burial will be private.
