98, of Cranston, passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Cedar Crest in Cranston. She was the wife of the late Edmund H. LaFleur, Sr. Born in Providence, Margaret was a daughter of the late Louis and Mary (Giacomina) Cimaglia. Mrs. LaFleur worked at General Electric for many years, before retiring.
She is survived by her children Joan Gannon of Cranston and Elaine LaFleur of West Warwick. Margaret was also mother of the late Shirley Piekarski and Edmund H. LaFleur, Jr. Mrs. LaFleur was the cherished grandmother of seven and great grandmother of seven. She was the sister of Viola Piccoli of Johnston and the late Raphaela Lewis, Evelyn Raposa, Eleanor Argenti, Josephine Iannone, Ester Antonelli, Antonetta Andrews, John, Michael, Anthony, Perry and Louis Cimaglia.
Her funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anthony’s Church, Plainfield St, Providence at 10:00 a.m. VISITING HOURS: Monday 4:00-8:00 p.m. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
