Margaret L. (Martinelli) Manzi

97, of Cranston, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, June 26, 2023 at the Cedar Crest Nursing Home in Cranston.  Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Vincent, Sr. and Carmella (Lanni) Martinelli.

Margaret worked as the School Lunch Charge Cook for Johnston High School for over 20 years, but the role she took the most pride in was being a mother to her five children.

She is survived by her loving children, Diane Ruggieri of Scituate, Sharon Friese of Florida, Deborah Capirchio of Cranston, Lisa Vale of Florida, Antonio Manzi Jr. of Cranston; cherished granddaughter Regina Dubois and great grandsons Cole and Jack Dubois of Massachusetts; dear siblings Vincent Martinelli Jr. of Cranston, Palma Pesaturo of Cranston, and the late Delia Reale and Anna Martinelli.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, July 1st at 11 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston.  Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
