Margaret Alice “Peggy” Parillo DiCostanzo age 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family. Peggy was born on June 14, 1942, in Webster, MA, the daughter of John and Irene Duhamel Mozsocki of Johnston, RI.

Peggy is survived by her daughter, Colleen DiCostanzo of Fall River, MA, and her children Rae and Nicolaus Hewitt; and by her son, Tom DiCostanzo of Port Orange, FL, his wife Dawn, and his children Antonio, Vittoria, and Sophia DiCostanzo, as well as Dawn's three sons and grandchildren.

Peggy spent most of her life in Johnston, RI and Glocester, RI, where she built a life centered around family, kindness, and quiet strength. After retiring from FM Global in 2003, she married her husband, John Parillo, who predeceased her. Together, they enjoyed many happy retirement years in Tamworth, NH.

In 2018, Peggy relocated to Port Orange to live with her son Tom, and his wife Dawn and family, where she continued to enjoy the comfort and closeness of family.

Peggy will be remembered as a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She had a quiet and gentle nature and was always willing to listen and offer thoughtful advice to those she loved. Her warmth, patience, and kindness touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed.

Relatives and friends will gather at the entrance of Highland Memorial Park, Johnston on Monday June 8, 2026 at 9 am followed by committal services at 9:15am.
