Margaret N. (Natalizia) Reo

Margaret N. Reo, 98 of Johnston, passed away peacefully Friday June 23, 2023, with her family by her side. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Cleto and Angelina (Celani) Natalizia. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 68 years Angelo Reo, Jr., in 2018.

Margaret’s life was centered around family, always spending time with not only her immediate family, but also time with her siblings and their families. Their home in Simmonsville (Johnston) was where she enjoyed cooking traditional Italian homemade meals. For over 15 years, she was the secretary for the Guidance Office at LaSalle Academy, helping hundreds of young men complete their college applications. Her and Angelo, were longtime communicants of St. Rocco’s Church, in Johnston.

She is survived by her three children Angela Kasper, Leonard Reo, and Peter Reo. She was the beloved grandmother of Edward “Ted” Rao, Peter Reo, Jr., David Reo, Amy (Kasper) Carlow, Madeline (Reo) Glackin, and Michael Reo.  She was the devoted great grandmother of David Reo, Jr. , Brooke Reo, and Valerie Reo. She was predeceased by her four older siblings Corrado Natalizia, John Natalizia, Antonietta Pascarella, and Victoria Natalizia.

Her funeral will leave at 9:15 am on Monday July 3, 2023, from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am at St. Rocco’s Church, 927 Atwood Ave., Johnston. Burial will be in St. Ann’s cemetery. VISITING HOURS will be held Sunday from 3:00 -6:00 pm.
