Margery A. (Filippone) Harrop

70, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 7, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late James E. Harrop. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Aspry) Filippone.

Margery was a graduate of Pilgrim High School Class of 1973; and was a bookkeeper for many years in a family business.

She was the devoted mother of Brenda S. Harrop and her husband John Agostini of Cranston and James B. Harrop and his wife Kelly Conant of Wood River Junction in Richmond; and dear sister of Joanne DelBonis, Mary DeCubellis, Victoria Smith and the late Joseph Filippone. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and her dear friend Susan Rice.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Graveside Service on Tuesday, December 16th at 11 a.m. in Greenwood Cemetery, Fairview Ave., Coventry.
