88, of Narragansett, the beloved wife of the late Nicholas J. Craddock and the daughter of the late Ernest and Sonja (Hylander) Bloom, passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, May 14, 2026. Margit was proud of her Swedish heritage and fondly remembered her many years of life and travel abroad and throughout the United States, as she supported her husband and family during his long military career.
Nothing brought Margit greater joy than her family. She was a devoted wife and a dedicated and loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and delighted to spend time travelling with her family and enjoying countless adventures, celebrations, holidays and game nights. Margit was an avid supporter of her grandchildren at many sporting events and activities. Margit is survived by her loving children, Brian M. Craddock and his wife Dawn, Stephen M. Craddock and his wife Annie, Sharon A. DeLuca and her husband Steven; cherished grandchildren, Nicholas DeLuca and his wife, Olivia, Zachary DeLuca and his wife Mikayla, Alexander DeLuca and his special friend Bridgid, Matthew Craddock and his special friend Sara, Andrew Craddock, and Sonja Craddock; and great-grandchildren Riley and Owen DeLuca, as well as her dear sister Nancy LeVasseur. Margit was blessed and grateful to have spent a great deal of time with her great grandchildren and to develop a special bond with them before she passed.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory – SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Rd. (Rt. 1A) Narragansett on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at 10:00am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in Christ the King Church, 180 Old North Rd. Kingston. Burial will be private. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday morning from 9:00 – 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38015.
