95, of Johnston, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2026, with family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Rocco Doti, Jr. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Napolean and Alice (Blanchette) Fregeau.
Marguerite was a woman of many talents. She was a hairdresser and homemaker before becoming a Certified Respiratory Therapist, working at Miriam Hospital and in Maine. She loved arts and crafts, both gifting and selling much of her work at craft fairs. One of her favorite things to paint was Christmas items, specifically Santas. She made numerous baby quilts for her many grandchildren, beautiful bed quilts and landscape wall hangings, among other sewn items. She painted decorative items, with Rocco making many of the wooden items for her. Her most recent artistic endeavor was wall artwork. She also taught painting and quilting classes at various locations in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
She is survived by her loving children; Ronald Lefebvre and his wife Lilly, David Lefebvre and his wife Cyd, Lorraine Sandbach and her husband John, Marc Lefebvre, Joseph Lefebvre, and the late Eugene Lefebvre. She leaves her daughter-in-law Shelly Lefebvre, 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Maurice Fregeau, Leo (Joseph) Fregeau, Claire Fregeau, Simone Makkonen, Sister Jeanne of Saint Chretienne and Cora Sheehan.
VISITING HOURS will be held on Tuesday, October 6th from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. in the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Funeral Service at 12:30 p.m. in St. Ann Cemetery Chapel, Cranston.
