Marguerite T. (Gibbons) Giusti

Marguerite T. Giusti of Wakefield, RI passed into new life on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, Virginia. Marguerite, spouse of the late George R. Giusti and daughter of the late Frank J. Gibbons and Ruth Anna (Richardson) Gibbons, was born in Detroit, Michigan. She was sister to the late Bernard Gibbons, Gerald Gibbons, Mark Gibbons and Ann (Gibbons) Geranen. Marguerite is survived by her beloved children, Dr. Ruthann M. Giusti of Rockville, MD; Professor Karin F. Giusti of Brooklyn, NY; Rosemary Giusti-Dillon and her husband Michael of Charleston, South Carolina and Loren A. Robenhymer and her husband Joseph of Narragansett, RI. Marguerite was cherished by her 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was an active member of the St. Thomas More community and book club and a beloved friend and neighbor to many. Marguerite lived a life dedicated to creativity and hospitality. After earning a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Design from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Marguerite went on to become an established Architectural Designer and founder of Tudor Design Associates. She was an avid reader, water colorist, and quilter. Marguerite had an open door, outstretched hand, and open heart for all. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, November 25th, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Nardolillo Funeral Home SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Road, (Rt.1A) Narragansett, RI. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 26th, at Saint Veronica Chapel 1035 Boston Neck Road, Narragansett, RI. Burial will take place in St. Francis Cemetery, Wakefield, RI.
