98, of Cranston passed away peacefully at home to be with her Lord surrounded by her loving devoted family on Sunday February 12, 2023.

She was the loving devoted wife to the late Joseph Papitto. Her expression of love was evident to all in the loving care she provided for him at the end of his life.

Born in Providence she was the daughter of the late Sisto Grande (of Piedmonte d’alife, Italy) and Maria D. Pezzullo) Grande, and sister of the late Albert, Edward and Ernest Grande. Marguerite was a graduate of Johnston + Wales and was a payroll clerk at the Providence Rubber Factory in her early life.

She is survived by her six children Beverly A. Curtis and her husband Kenneth Curtis of Palm Harbor, FL, Patricia A. Troob and her husband Howard J. Troob of South Kingstown, RI, Joseph F. Papitto and Veronica of Clearwater, FL, Kathleen Lally and her husband William Lally of Carmel, CA, Maureen Ferreira of Cranston, and Bruce J. Papitto and his wife Amei Papitto of El Cerrito, CA; eleven grandchildren Marc Troob, Scott Troob, Eric Troob, Josh Troob, Jessica Frye, Ross Papitto, Tracey Lally, B.J. Lally, Anders Papitto, Anna Papitto and Sophia Papitto and their spouses Heather, Jaclyn, Justin, Sarah, Alyssa and Keith; and five great grandchildren Emery, Mila, Merrick, Shia and Micah.

Her funeral service will be held on Thursday February 16th at 11 am in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston. Burial will be private.

Visiting hours are THURSDAY MORNING FROM 10 AM TO 11 AM.
