Maria V. (DeiCeci) Abbatematteo

84, of North Providence, formerly of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur T. Abbatematteo. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Francesco and Maria (Vassella) DeiCeci. She was a communicant of the former St. Ann Church, Cranston. Maria is survived by her loving children, Maria Silvestro of Cranston, Arthur Abbatematteo, Jr. of Providence, Joseph Abbatematteo of Colorado, Frank Abbatematteo of Johnston, and John Abbatematteo of Pembroke, MA, She was the cherished grandmother of eleven and the great-grandmother of eight. Maria was the sister of the late Liboreo DeiCeci and Lee Nero. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 10:00 a.m. in St. George Maronite Church, formerly St. Ann's Church,1493 Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial will be private. VISITING HOURS are respectfully omitted.
