MARIA P. (RUGGIERI) DI BITETTO

89, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. North Providence. She was the beloved wife of Ralph DiBitetto for 59 years. Born in Itri, Latina, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Francesco and Maria Giovania (Sepe) Ruggieri. Maria was a member of the Legion of Mary at the Church of St. Mark, Cranston and the AARP. Besides her husband, she is survived by her loving children, Anna Maria DiBitetto of Pawtucket, Franco N. DiBitetto, and Robert DiBitetto, both of Cranston. She was the cherished sister of Salvatore Ruggieri of Providence. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial will be private.
