Maria O. (Urizar) Castillo

76, of Cranston, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, May 2, 2026. She was the beloved wife of Humberto Castillo. Born in Quiche, Guatemala, she was the daughter of the late Maurelio Urizar and Isidora Granados.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her loving daughter Reyna Sanchez and her husband Salvador, and stepdaughter Claudia Carrascoza; cherished grandchildren Jason Rojas, Vanessa Sanchez, Daisy Sanchez, and great grandson Jason Rojas Jr; dear siblings Carlos Urizar, Elsa Perez, Conrado Urizar, Gloefa Alvarado, Lionel Urizar, Maurelio Urizar, Manolo Urizar, Bonny Gonzalez, and Eva Leticia Grajeda.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday, May 9th at 8:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, 549 Plainfield St., Providence. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be Friday, May 8th from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.
