87, of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 31, 2015, at Westerly Hospital, Westerly. She was the beloved wife of the late Rocco R. DeAngelis, who passed away on August 1, 2014. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Amadeo and Maria (Quintal) Teixeira. Mary was a typist for Fram-Filter Manufacturing Company for six years before becoming a loving mother to her children. Mary devoted her life to her children and family, their interests were hers. She found great joy in boating with her husband, and watching her children grow. Mary was a mother to many of her children's friends. She is very much loved and appreciated and will be sadly missed.
Mary is survived by her devoted children, Kathleen DeAngelis of Pawtucket, Linda A. Napolitano and her husband Frank of East Hartford, CT and Steven R. DeAngelis and his wife Melissa of Hope Valley. She was the cherished grandmother of Aaron Napolitano, Jack C. DeAngelis, Elena DeAngelis and Noah DeAngelis. She was the sister the sister of the late Constance Nobriga.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. VISITING HOURS Thursday 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 245 Waterman Street, Suite 306, Providence, RI 02906.
