Maria V. (Lucchetti) Galetti
86, of Cranston, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2016 at Kent Hospital in Warwick. She was the beloved wife of the late Jordan J. Galetti, Sr. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Gaetano and Antonetta (D'Andrea) Lucchetti.
Maria was supervisor and head chef for the State of RI School Lunch Program for 30 years before retiring.
She was the devoted mother of Jordan J. Galetti, Jr. and his wife Donna of Cranston, Lorraine Tougas and her husband Jean of East Greenwich and the late David P. Galetti; loving grandmother of four grandsons; loving great-grandmother of two great-granddaughters; and dear sister of Josephine D'Aguanno of Cranston and the late Ann Pezza.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Wednesday, January 13th at 10 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston at 11 a.m. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
VISITING HOURS are WEDNESDAY MORNING from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
