86, of Cranston, formerly of Barrington passed away Monday, December 16, 2013. She was the wife of the late John Jiacovelli.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Rose (Bianco) Calore.
Maria was employed by General Electric for over 50 years until retiring. She was a former member of the Barrington Senior Center and was an avid country music lover and supporter.
She is survived by her four brothers, Joseph Calore of Bristol, Ernest Calore and his wife Elsie of Warwick, Salvatore Calore of Bellingham, MA and Louis Calore and his wife Fran of Cranston; she was also the loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held on Friday at 10am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, Cranston at 11am. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Friday morning 9-10am.
