Marianna (Conti) DiManna

94, of Johnston, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2026.

Born in San Giovanni Incarico, Italy, Marianna was the beloved daughter of the late Erasmo and Giovanna (Abbatecola) Conti. She later made her home in Johnston, Rhode Island, where she built a beautiful life centered around what mattered most to her—her family.

Marianna was the beloved wife of the late Giovanni DiManna and the devoted mother of MariaLuisa Ruscetta and her husband, Antonio Ruscetta.

Family was truly at the heart of Marianna’s life. One of twelve children, she embraced a motherly role from an early age, helping care for her younger siblings with the same devotion and tenderness she would later extend to her own daughter, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. That nurturing spirit remained with her throughout her life, and her greatest joy came from caring for and being surrounded by those she loved.

Marianna worked for many years as a foot press operator. Outside of work, she found joy in the simple, meaningful rhythms of home life. She loved knitting, tending to her garden, her daily Holy Rosary with scriptural meditations, and, above all, cooking for her family. Her kitchen was the heart of her home—a gathering place where traditions were passed down, stories were shared, and countless cherished memories were made around her table.

She was a proud and loving grandmother to Roberta (Ruscetta) Fahey and her husband, Jonathan Fahey, and Giovanna Ruscetta and her husband, Jeff Lisi. She was also a cherished great-grandmother to Cristian, Siera, and Ashley Fahey; Adriana and Franco Sousa; and Sabrina Lisi, each of whom brought her tremendous pride and joy. They will truly miss their Nonna Mina.

Marianna is survived by her siblings, Immacolata (Conti) Grossi, Maria (Conti) Paris, Rosetta (Conti) Carnevale, Rita (Conti) Paris, and Carlo Conti. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Salvatore Conti, Giuseppe Conti, Natalina (Conti) Alaia, Vincenzo Conti, Costantino Conti, and Giovanni Conti.

Marianna’s 94 years were a testament to hard work, strength, devotion, and, above all, love of family. Her legacy lives on in the generations she helped raise, the traditions she lovingly passed down, and the countless memories created around her table and within the home she made so special.

She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in the hearts of all who knew and loved her—Soprattutto sua figlia d'oro.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at 10am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITATION Wednesday 9-10am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Robert Bellarmine food bank in her memory.
