48 of Duxbury St., Providence, entered into eternal rest on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2015 at RI Hospital in Providence surrounded by her loving family. Born in Providence, she was the beloved daughter of the late Wilfred J. and Mary F. (Lupo) Gaboury.
Marianne was a clerk for the City of Providence in the Treasurer's Office for 15 years before retiring.
She was the loving sister of Alfreda M. Badway and her husband Edward of Johnston and Michele C. Lombardi and her late husband Peter of Providence; cherished aunt of Kristin, Edward, Alexander and Andrew Badway, Lauren Garcia and Joshua Lombardi; and cherished great-aunt of Audriana Garcia. Marianne is also survived by her aunt Jacqueline Lupo of Providence; cousin and caregiver Christine Piacitelli and cousins Donna Zoglio and Jianina Pagliarini.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday, April 9th at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bartholomew's Church, 305 Laurel Hill Ave., Providence at 10 a.m. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
