Marie (Evangelista) Amador

87, of Arthur St., Cranston, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Hope Hospice & Palliative Care, RI in Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony J. Amador. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Filomena (Valente) Evangelista.

Maria was an inspector for 12 years at Universal Optical in Providence and later in East Providence before retiring.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna M. Warner and her husband Richard of Warwick; two grandsons, Jason M. DelToro and Ryan P. DelToro, both of Cranston; her great-grandson Jacob A. Sivo-DelToro; and her brother Benny C. Evangelista of East Providence. She was the sister the late Americo M. Evangelista and Alba Cabral.

Her funeral service and burial at St. Ann Cemetery were private.
