Marie C. (D'Arezzo) Cantone
88, of Pocasset Lane, Johnston and Lakeland, FL, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2016 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Marshall E. Cantone. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Lucio and Maria (Zompa) D'Arezzo.
Mrs. Cantone was the devoted mother of Anna Corwin and her husband Dr. R.W. Corwin of Scituate, Marshall Cantone and his wife Dianne of Lakeland, FL, Dorothy McDonough and her husband Garry of Cranston, Maria LaForge and her husband Jeff of Southington, CT and Michael Cantone and his wife Jerri of Johnston; loving grandmother of fourteen; great-grandmother of thirteen; and great great-grandmother of one.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Thursday at 10 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Matthew's Church, 1291 Elmwood Ave., Cranston at 11 a.m. Burial will be at RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. VISITING HOURS are THURSDAY MORNING from 8 a.m. to 10a.m.
