Marie (Aucone) D'Antuono

91, of Cranston, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021, peacefully at home.  She was the beloved wife of the late Antonio “Tony” D’Antuono.  Born in Providence, Marie was a daughter of the late Fortunato and Maria (Merola) Aucone.

She is survived by her two siblings, Anthony Aucone and his wife Romelle, and Dolores Paesano and her husband Robert, all of Cranston, and the late Augustine and John Aucone, Emilia Ryan, and Anna Celani.  Marie was the cherished stepmother of Steven D’Antuono and his wife Maribeth of Cranston, step grandmother of Nicole and Christopher D’Antuono, and great step grandmother of Gemma.  She was the aunt of many nephews, nieces, great nephews, and great nieces, whom she loved dearly.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Holy Ghost Church, Providence. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted per Marie’s wishes.  Entombment will be private.
