Marie A. (Frattarelli) Laudini

76, of Rhode Island, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 12, 2025, at Steere House Nursing Home, Providence.

Born to Angelo A. Frattarelli and Marie C. Carnevale, Marie was a lifelong Rhode Island resident who dedicated her life to family, education, and the arts. She attended 12 years of parochial school and went on to earn her Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the University of Rhode Island.

A gifted artist, Marie painted many portraits that were exhibited at the South County Art Association, the Westerly Co-op, and the Providence Art Club. Her work was honored with numerous awards and reflected her deep passion for creativity and expression. Sadly, due to macular degeneration, she was eventually forced to stop painting.

Marie was the beloved wife of the late Alfred J. Laudini and the cherished sister of the late Deborah Surabian. She is survived by her son, Michael, and his wife, Sara; her daughter, Patricia, and her husband, Mike; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews.

Marie’s warmth, talent, and devotion to her family and community will be remembered by all who knew her.

Her services are respectfully omitted.
