Marie T. (Persico) Leone

103, formerly of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at the Brentwood Nursing Home in Warwick.  She was the beloved wife of the late Vincent F. Leone.  Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Mariano and Jennie (Phillips) Persico.

Marie worked in the jewelry industry for many years before her retirement.  She loved poker, crossword puzzles and reading.  She was an avid gardener and football fan.  She also loved to volunteer at the Senior Center.

She was the loving mother of Marc Leone and his wife Mary of South Kingstown and the late Louis S., James E., and Vincent E. Leone; cherished grandmother of Jason, Justine, Jayna, Siera, Michael and Marc Leone and was great grandmother of 3.

Her funeral will be held on Monday at 9:30 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL AT 10:30 A.M. IN ST. MARK'S CHURCH, 15 Garden Court, Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS are Monday morning from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m.
