Marie C. (DiRobbio) Montanaro

87, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Friday December 19, 2014, at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Enrico "Harry" Montanaro. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Rose (Adamo) DiRobbio. Mrs. Montanaro worked for DCYF in the payroll department for the State of Rhode Island for 14 years until her retirement; also a member of the Knightsville Senior Club.

Marie is survived by her loving children Joyce C. Potenza, Denise A. Jackson and her husband Dunnie, Michael E. Montanaro and his wife Lisa all of Cranston. She was the sister of Lucille D. White of Wakefield, a cherished grandmother of seven and great-grandmother of three. She was the mother of the late Michael and Elaine Rose Montanaro.

Her funeral will be held on Monday at 10:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Church, Cranston, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
