Marie V. (Piccolantonio) Olerio

94, of North Kingstown, formerly a resident of Boca Raton, FL, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at South County Nursing Home, North Kingstown. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Olerio, Sr. Born in Milford, MA she was a daughter of the late Matthew and Lena (Tocci) Piccolantonio.

Marie grew up in Providence, and then moved to Cranston after getting married where she raised her seven loving children, Joseph Olerio, Jr. and his wife Marilyn of Cranston, Louis Olerio and his wife Leah of Rye, NH, Debra Lilli and her husband Steven DiPetrillo of Johnston, Alfred Olerio and his wife Denise of North Kingstown, Matthew Olerio and his wife Margie of North Kingstown, John Olerio and his wife Suzanne of North Kingstown, and the late James Olerio. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Michelle, Joseph III, Louis, Jr., Lauren, Nathan, Sarah, David, Corey, Alexis, Adam, Matthew, Jr., James, Shayna, John, Brittany and eight great-grandchildren; dear sister of Elena Piccolantonio of Cranston and the late Joseph and Louis Piccolantonio, Annette Demarzo and Mary Buono.

Marie was an amazing chef both professionally and more importantly for those most dear.

Marie loved Our Lord, her family, her friends and her life.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory- SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Rd. (Rt. 1A) Narragansett on Thursday at 9:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Veronica Chapel, Narragansett. Burial will follow in RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. VISITING HOURS will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 – 8:00 pm.
