Marie A. (Paliotta) Rainone

70, of Cranston, RI and Delray Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully at her home in Cranston on Sunday, March 25, 2018. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard R. Rainone. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Damiano and Josephine (Petrucci) Paliotta.

She was the loving mother of Jo-Anne M. Rainone of Cranston and Richard R. Rainone and his wife Keri of Parkland, FL; cherished grandmother of Bennett and David Rainone; dear sister of Elaine A. Almagno and the late, Thomas D. Paliotta.

She was a graduate of Johnson & Wales University and had a successful career as an administrative assistant in the guidance department of the Johnston Public Schools.  She enjoyed a retirement with her husband, Richard, in Delray where she loved being close to her grandchildren and watching them play hockey.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Liturgy on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, Cranston. Inurnment will take place at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
