86, of Cranston passed away peacefully on Monday, February 3, 2014 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Harry A. Redfern. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Vincenzo and Rosina (Romeo) Olivieri. Marie was a clerk for the former Leesona Corporation of Warwick for many years until its closing. She enjoyed singing, dancing, the movies, and spending good times with her nieces Paris Ledoux, Cheryl Pashalian, and nephew Wayne and his wife Pat Pashalian. She is survived by her son Paul Redfern of Cranston and her step-daughter Susan Redfern of TN. She was the step-mother of the late Kathleen Redfern. She was the grandmother of Nancy Redfern, Jamie M., and Jody R. Almeida, and the great-grandmother of Jalen Almeida. She is also survived by several other beloved nieces and nephews and a host of dear friends. Marie was the sister of the late Nicholas, Martell, Dominick, and Rocco Olivieri, Angelina Rosi, Margaret Andl, Grace Olivieri, and Carmella Pashalian. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Matthew Church, corner of Elmwood and Park Avenues, Cranston. Burial will be in North Burial Ground, Bristol. VISITING HOURS Friday 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads RI, 160 Broad Street, Providence, RI 02903, or St. Matthew Church, 15 Francis Street, Cranston, RI 02910.
