MARIE (PAPITTO) SCUNGIO

89, of Cranston, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at the Sunny View Nursing Home in Warwick. She was the beloved wife of the late Silvio John Scungio. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Umberto and Maria (DelliSanti) Papitto. She was also the sister of the late Joseph and Albert Papitto, Rose Stubblefield, and Nancy Assante. She is survived by her many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 10:00 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Drive, Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Home and Hospice Care of R.I., 1085 North Main Street, Providence, R.I. 02904.
